Subcontract Sheet Metal Folding
Through continuous investment in our sheet metal department, Swanglen Metal Products now has the latest press brake technology the AMADA HFE M2 1003, which is an 8-axis, 100-tonne press brake with a 3110 mm-wide bend length.
Combined with our Amada laser, both machines use software supplied by Amada creating a sheet metal digital Factory VPSS (Virtual Prototype Simulation System) in which we can simulate a component from laser cutting through to folding ensuring the sheet metal component is to the customer’s specification with no need to actually scrap any components.
This system cuts down on scrap and set-up times, allowing Swanglen Metal Products to keep prototyping and production cost lower than ever before.
The Amada HFE M2 1003 is capable of achieving Consistent Angle Accuracy through the component manufacturing cycle and throughout the production batch.
With a large selection of tooling on site, we are confident we can manufacture a wide verity of components to customer specifications.
